The wonders of Pintrest captured me. Somehow it figured out I like unusual botanical materials. Probably from doing research for my Floral Design Classes that I teach. I ended up getting a number of images of mushrooms. They were so unusual and beautiful that I am trying to make a few of them.
This one was based off an image I found of a Black Elfin Saddleback mushroom. You can decide if its a mushroom or just a beautiful sculpture.
