I live in Barron Park, CA. Our neighborhood has a paddock where there are community donkeys. The donkeys are cared for by the residents of the neighborhood and their pasture is along a public walking path.
Every weekend they are brought out into the park bordering their pasture and the kids and neighbors can visit with the donkeys. Perry was the model for Donkey in Shrek and he recently died. I was asked to do a flower arrangement for him.
This arrangement was done in the pail used to feed him and contains his halter and lead. Apparently he was known by the children in our neighborhood as the rainbow donkey, due to his halter. So the flowers are pastel rainbow colors, like the rainbow colors on his halter.
