I used an underglaze I bought while I was at the ceramic conference in Salt Lake City Utah. It is by a company called Chrysanthos. These underglazes can be mixed like watercolors, which is slightly unusual in the ceramic world.
The piece is designed to be hung, so it has colors covering the entire body.
